    Hey everyone,

I just launched my updated website and wanted to make a facebook post about it. The auto description that facebook generates when you paste a link usually contains the text off the website in question. For my website it pulls 'index of /' instead of that description. This sounds problematic since when google eventually crawls my page it may also list that as the title for my site: http;//www.twistedframe.ca

I tested the website in a subdirectory before launching (by migrating the index and .htaccess page to the root and deleting the old site). Everything about the site seems to work fine but this.

    Thanks,
    Avi

If you want to control more of what Facebook uses in their snippets, you can add open graph tags to your site. Then Facebook will use those tags to populate the title, description, thumbnail, etc. when shared on Facebook.
