Hey wordpress friends. I am running my website on wordpress. It seems to be really REALLY slow and I can't figure out the reason.

I have WP Super Cache installed and that doesn't seem to help much. If anyone can take a look and figure out why it's doing this, I will be grateful.

    The website is http://www.lightbulbvideography.com

    Thanks!

Looks like it's caused by NivoSlider. Try deactivating that plugin.

Your theme's vendors should be supporting you with this.

Home Page loaded in under 2 seconds for me. Other pages similar times. Nice background pictures! :-)

Thanks Andrew. I deleted a plugin that I wasn't using.

Thanks Billy. I seem to get a lil faster load times now but sometimes it still seems slow. But I will continue to delete any other plugins. Seems like that's what it is.

    Bump.

I am still getting complaints and people telling me about the lag. Is anyone else able to take a quick look at the website to see what you can figure out why the site is lagging?

Do you think it can be the server/hosting I am on?

    The website again is http://www.lightbulbvideography.com

    Thanks!

Your theme's vendors should be supporting you with this.

Can you then confirm that your theme's vendors are not?

Loaded fast for me - but this may be useful:

And yes, servers can always be a factor.

I will check with the support in the theme and circle back to update. Thanks Andrew.

I figured it out. There was something in the coding of the theme. Thanks guys.
