Website seems to be slowing down after installing this plugin

    Hi there,

    My website was kind of slow, so after reading a lot of pages on the web I found out I should really use this plugin.
    I always check with Google PageSpeed Insights what I have to do about our site and after installing the plugin almost everthing is in the green.

    But when I just go to http://www.mvpromos.nl my site is still slow. Not only that, it even seems a bit slower..

    What can I do about it?

    So many options in the plugin, don’t know where to look 😉

    Disable db Cache
    Use Disk Basic
    Disable DEBUG!

    If you use Google PageSpeed Insights to determine what you should optimize (bottle necks), you should also only enable the W3 Total Cache functions that optimize these bottle necks.

    Try this more detailed testing to as well: http://www.webpagetest.org

    Thanks for the repies, will check it out.

    The problem is probably with the server though, so I’m not quite sure if any tweaking needs to be done.
