Does anyone know how I can make my WordPress MU look more like a website instead of a blog. I dont need all those twitter widgety things nor do I want the way it says that admin has made the last comment when I edit a page.

I chose to use WPMU because of its ability to have multiple users. Any help guys?

    villagepubscene,

This may seem like a simple question with a straightforward answer but the reality is that it is not. If you want the the site to look less like a blog then you will need to either design and code it that way, hire a designer, or install a new theme.

What you should do is search on WordPress and CMS for content management to better understand how to do this. You can even run a site based on WordPress with no blog at all. It depends on the page templates. Look for themes that will do that for you.

There are 1,200+ free Themes from WordPress developers: http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/

Many many choices - the "twitter widgety things" can be deleted from virtually every Theme - usually without any programming experience required.
