WordPress MU Domain Mapping
[resolved] Website deleted, still 'mapped' in the air (3 posts)

Hi guys I've got a super weird problem:

My website got instable, couldn't fix it so decided to move it using wordpress export/import, so far so good. I've completely deleted (ftp, blogs_dir, database, cdn, dns!) the old adres, including all settings I used in domain mapping. The darnest thing is that the website IS STILL IN THE AIR on the domain I set up in domain mapping! I can't use it now for the new website.

It is some sort of an impossibility which defies my sense of reality. I'm in contact with my hosting service but they don't seem to find anything either. Is there any known issue that resmbles mine?

    In short:

-old adres: http://www.jaaadesignwebsitehosting.nl/mrgnlcht --> mapped with http://www.mrgnlcht.nl = completely deleted
-new adres: http://www.jaaadesignwebsitehosting.nl/mrgnlchtNL --> cant map it because if I do the old 'ghost' http://www.mrgnlcht.nl takes over if I do

    This is driving me bonkers!

    Any help is greatly appreciated!!!

    Nick

Ps. See for yourself: http://www.mrgnlcht.nl !

Are you running a caching plugin?

Ron, you are spot on. Using Super cache and it turns out it stores almost the entire website! This was driving me insane!! I usually work with Total cache but I find that they don't work so well with multisite so...

    Thanks Ron!
