Hi,
My web host is FatCow.com. A while back I had a problem creating permalinks for the WordPress themes I customized. It turned out that FatCow did not allow writing into .htaccess file, but I called them and they got it working for me.
I just realized (several months later) that a line of code is showing at the top of the website. And I cannot log into my WordPress admin, all I get is a page with that same line of code:
Cannot open file (/hermes/web09c/b1023/moo.ancientuniversalmedi/wp-content/backup-db/.htaccess)Cannot write to file (/hermes/web09c/b1023/moo.ancientuniversalmedi/wp-content/backup-db/.htaccess)
I have a database backup plugin; maybe I should just remove it thru my file manager interface, so any attempts to write to that file are stopped. Not sure what else to do. I am not a programmer.
Any suggestions will be appreciated.
