Webpage in incorrect position in site map (1 post)

One of the main menus on my site has 3 sub-levels. In this main menu, the 3rd level has 2 links / webpages. The site map shows only 1 link / webpage although the main menu shows both the links / webpages.

    WHAT I HAVE DONE
I have moved the page (that shows up in incorrect position in site map) to 2-3 other locations in the menu structure, refreshed the website, checked webpage position in main menu and saw that it had moved to the new position in menu structure. The position of the webpage in site map did not change though.

Then I moved the webpage back to where it should be. Every time I moved that webpage, the main menu reflected the new position but its position in the site map did not change.

I then deactivated the site map plugin and refreshed the site map webpage and it showed me a blank page confirming the site map plugin is deactivated. I activated it again and refreshed the site map page but again that page showed the wrong position on site map but correct position under the main menu.

    LOOKING FOR
Any ideas what I can do to make it show the webpage in the correct position in the site map webpage?
