the mp4 option works fine, but the webm option is not working, if somebody could take a look and give me any suggestions that would be great. I currently have it set to only the webm version just for testing.

My code looks like the following:

    [video webm="https://s3.amazonaws.com/jl1/MagPillHD.webm" controls="true" autoplay="true" width="800" height="596" ]

here is the link to the webpage: http://www.magneticpill.com/ms2

Hi, that isn't the shortcode for our plugin.

    Ours would be:

    [jwplayer file="https://s3.amazonaws.com/jl1/MagPillHD.webm" controlbar="bottom" autostart="true" width="800" height="596"]

    Try that.

Thank you for the response, sorry I must have been confused. Two questions for you:

My code looks like this now:
    [jwplayer file="https://s3.amazonaws.com/jl1/MagPillHD.flv" html5_file="https://s3.amazonaws.com/jl1/MagPillHD.webm" controlbar="bottom" autostart="true" width="800" height="596"]

and I am testing it on this page: http://www.magneticpill.com/test333

    1) what versions of the video do I need if I want it to play on all browsers and mobile devices? WIth the current code it is not playing in IE, or on mobile devices. I have the video in .mp4 format as well, but no combination seems to work.

    2) When I only use the WebM version it creates a massive black border around the video, any idea what causes that?

    Thank you for your time

    1) MP4, encoded in H.264 is a better format, since more browsers support it.

    2) Maybe it has to do with your encoding. Try to add stretching="exactfit" to your shortcode.

I would personally just recommend using a .mp4 file, there will be no need to a FLV or any sort of alternate file in this case, then.

There is an issue with the MIME-TYPE of the MP4 file.

    It is - Content-Type application/octet-stream

But it needs to be video/mp4
