Web URL and file path are not same, have update problem

    Hi,

    I am new to wordpress, I am using my NAS to host my wordpress.
    the files of wordpress is in /Qweb/wordpress, and I used virtual host so my URL is just http://www.URL.com
    but this make the wordpress cannot find the path to update the files.

    Is there any setting can tell wordpress it’s own real path so that I can upload by FTP?

    I am not quite sure what this means.

    Are you using some dynamic DNS service to point to your NAS?

    The fact that you are using a NAS may be trouble. You probably don’t have a fully fleshed out OS on there. It isn’t meant to be a fully fleshed out OS, or act as one. I got wildly frustrated with one last year because of that and all I wanted was a ‘file server’ which a NAS really should be capable of.
