   One of my WP halts and is really slow. I tested
   http://www.websiteoptimization.com/

   and was told this:
   Total HTTP Requests: 83
   Total Size: 872361 bytes

   Well, is that..bad?

   852k for a single page is a little on the heavy side. What's on that page?

   571k in images? 205k in scripts (only 70k of which is from WP core)? You might want to look at optimising some of your images and easing off on the plugins & external scripts.
