Hey,
I installed the Weather Plug in from Jeremiah. I got it to work, I was wondering if anyone has changed the plugin or modded it to use the 5 digit WMO Index Number instead of the 4 character ICAO Location Indicator.
I am very new to all this stuff, Maybe its impossible to use the 5 digit number. It just seems when I look up random cities in the world, they all seem to have the WMO number but not a ICAO call sign.
Just curious to know why the ICAO indicator was used

Are you using the latest version, the one from viper007bond? You can get it here: http://www.viper007bond.com/wordpress-plugins/weathericon/
I don't know if it uses the wmo number. My cities were plugged in with the original 1.X one way back when.... except for Stuttgart Germany (which didn't get added until just recently, but which had the 4 letter call sign).
I believe that viper007bond has taken up the updates to this plugin....

Apparently I was using Version 1.3 or something... dont ask how I got it. But I upgraded to the current 2.3. I still dont see where a WMO number couldbe used...
Anyone know why the ICAO Indicator was used. It seems that on the website from the NOAA all locations have a WMO, but not a ICAO.
