I currently use WordPress 1.2.1 for my front page on a hobby site. The purpose of the page it to mainly act as a news center and within the posts there are images more times then not. I've already seen a few places link my images to their sites, so what I was wondering if anyone knows of a hack or plugin for WordPress that will create watermarks on images as they are being uploaded?

No, but as I said at the time, I think the second method there would be a superb plugin. -
The exhibit plugin has a function to add watermarks when you upload images.
