    In the versions after 1.72. The developer added “Manage signups” which in return breaks your automatic registration. All new registered users get stuck in this stupid Manage Signups and I have to manually active the users.

    Who is asking for this feature that breaks your automatic registration process!?

    ziky – I assume you mean 2.0, not 1.72. In any case, if you are having problems that you think are tied to BuddyPress updates, please feel free to post details. In particular, if you had “automatic registration” enabled before, it’s likely that you were using a separate plugin, because BP has always required manual email activation for new registrations; knowing what plugin you were using for that purpose would be helpful.

    I’m using version 1.72, and it’s working fine now. I use s2Member Framework plugin on my site.

    Buddypress is working fine now, with version 2.1.
    Thanks for fixing the automatic registration.
    I rate this plugin as 5 stars again.
