Warning problem when trying to update sites

    I have a multi site which has worked worked fine until installing the latest wordpress version.

    Everytime I try to do any updates in http://www.hotel-et-dordogne.com i receive the following errors:-

    http://hotel-et-dordogne.com/english

    1)Warning! Problem updating http://hotel-et-dordogne.com/english. Your server may not be able to connect to sites running on it. Error message: Couldn’t resolve host ‘hotel-et-dordogne.com’
    2) Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 32505856) (tried to allocate 30720 bytes) in /home/hoteletd/public_html/wp-admin/includes/ms.php on line 604

    I have purchased more memory, and increased the memory allocation for the site and cannot trace the error.

    Please help.

    I have just checked my error log and see the following since May 2012:-

    PHP Catchable fatal error: Method WP_HTML_Compression::__toString() must return a string value in /home/hoteletd/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 3335

    Not sure what this mean, can anyone help?
