Warning: is_readable() [function.is-readable]: open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/dev/urandom) is not within the allowed path(s): (/www/htdocs/w00ae2d7/:/tmp:/usr/bin:/www/htdocs/w00ae2d7:/bin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/share/php) in /www/htdocs/w00ae2d7/kt/wp-includes/class-phpass.php on line 58

I am getzting this error after installation and if I register a new user.
Any ideas how to solve this?

Thank you for your reply and tip. However, I don't think that it is the same issue as described in the thread you are referring to.

It happened to me at the first time when I freshly installed wp3.0 and as soon as the admin and the password were created the message appeared at the top of the page (tried it two times with fresh databases). No data of another installation were involved.

Then, when I create a new user the same thing happens as soon as I click "save". The user is created though.

It never happened to me when installing earlier versions of wordpress.

Openbase errors are normally due to restrictive hosting.
