"Warning" each time after saving changes (7 posts)

    Hi,

    I've installed the following website:

    http://www.meergeldverdienen.net

    I've created a child theme (TwentyEleven) and did the following:

    Removed the search form from the header by deleting the corresponding code in the header.php file of the Twenty Eleven theme

    Removed the "Powered by WordPress" link at the bottom by deleting this info from the Child theme's footer.php (which I copied and pasted from 2011)

    Added the "Date Exclusion SEO" plugin to remove dates in front of the Google SERPS.

    Now, each time I make changes, no matter what it is, text editing, plugin installation or something else, and I save my changes, I get the following error:

    "Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/itr1882/public_html/meergeldverdienen.net/wp-content/themes/meergeld/functions.php:1) in /home/itr1882/public_html/meergeldverdienen.net/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 876"

    The changes I make ARE saved by the way, but each time this error appears.

    Does anyone know what it means and how it can be solved? What did I likely do wrong?

    Thanks.

    You have a problem in your theme's functions.php file. Try reviewing Solving "headers already sent" warnings.

    My Child theme's functions.php file only consists of the Google Analytics script code and I haven't edited the functions.php file of the Twenty Eleven theme.

    Did you review the page I linked to above?

    Yes, if I'm correct, the issue is at line 1 of the functions.php file. But what could be wrong at line 1:

    <script type="text/javascript">

    The scripts doesn't have the "<?php and ?>" code..
