Want to update from WP3.4.1 – keeping existing Template (twenty eleven 1.4)

    Hey,
    I had tried to find version info and searched google and the forums with no luck…

    My question is: We run WordPress 3.4.1 and really have to update to the latest version for security reasons. Will the existing installed template, Twenty Eleven (Version 1.4) work with the newest WordPress version?

    If not, do I have to update the Template as well? Does a newer version of the template look (slightly) different?
