   I currently have a word press blog that I want to now RETAIN THE BLOG AND ITS NAME, but delete all the content I posted previously and start fresh. I want to redo the entire theme and purpose of the blog.

   Empty your database and re-install WordPress.

   I know this sounds really ridiculous, but I am so bad at this. How do I do that? Do I chance losing my blog name?

   To empty your database, you will need to use something like Phpmyadmin. If you don't know where that is, ask your hosts for assistance. Your site's domain name is independent of WordPress, so you will not lose that.
