    Go to your theme editor and find the page template, usually called something like "page.php". Look for the command that tells it to put the entry title at the top of the page.

    On mine (using 2010 child theme) it looks like this: <h1 class="entry-title"><?php the_title(); ?></h1>

    Comment it out by using this <!-- ••• -->
    Example: <!-- <h1 class="entry-title"><?php the_title(); ?></h1> -->

    One is in this image http://heritageconsultinggroup.com/wp-content/uploads/HCG_logofinal_rgbweb-960x216-2-images2.jpg

    and the other is coming from site title. Do you want to remove the one under the paper clip? It would probably be better to change the banner.

    Kmessinger...No, I wanted to remove the one that is right about the text, not in the header.

    I had removed the one under the header, but had other problems and I see it is back. At least it is behind my header now, rather than on top of it. I can live with that for now. YOU couldn't see it in front of the header, could you?

    Do you think this is it (from page.php)

    <?php echo sprintf('<h1 class="storytitle">%s</h1>',get_the_title());?>

    I see three, one under the paper clip, one in the image, and one part of the text just below the image which is part of your "story content."

    Does the one under the paperclip only show when loading or does it appear AFTER the header is loaded, on top of the header? It's only showing as I load on my computer.

    The one under the paper clip shows on loading and also is on the top after loading. I see that in IE8.

    I do not see it loading in FF but it is on top.

    BTW, your fonts in FF default to the sans-serif. If you want a serif font like I think VollkornRegular might be the group it with serif fonts like Times New Roman, Times, Serif. The font you call for, like VollkanRegular, will only be rendered on computers that have that font.
