Ok, so here's the thing. I have a wordpress.com blog. Didn't like the color scheme, so I downloaded everything necessary to be able to edit the css and stuff locally since I don't want to pay the upgrade fee $ to be able to edit themes' css.
I'm now thinking of getting my own domain and using the wp.org software to make my own theme. Thing is, I don't know code. I looked at a tutorial (wpdesigner) and it seems php is involved. But in glancing so far, it seems all the code is given to you - so it's just a matter of copying what the tut says?
Is this right? Is there really no coding language knowledge needed?
HERE is what I want it to look like: http://img704.imageshack.us/img704/641/toobad.png (ignore the entry contents, I was showing it to someone else and made that for them). I want the end product to look like that. All I have on my local machine, essentially, is the edited CSS file (and whatever graphics are used there, too). Is this enough? Is using the code given on wpdesigner to create the .php files and the .css file all I need to make a theme using the software so I can upload and begin using it on my own site and such?
