Want to change the default email id (7 posts)

    Hai i have used word press 2.0 i want to change the default email id when user register with the blog.

    Help me.

    Do you mean the email address that where you are notified when a new user registers? Not sure what you want exactly, but that one is the admin email. Just log in to admin and click Users and you'll see on that page where you can change the email. If that's not what you're after, please provide more info and I or someone will help you out.

    I want to change the default email id whenever new user registers in my registration form the user will be getting the mail as wordpress@domainname.com specifying the password

    Do you mean the email address that the message appears to be from? You can change that in pluggable-functions.php. Search for "wordpress@" and you'll find it in two places. One of these is for generic email sending, the other is to notify authors when somebody comments on their posts.

    Thank you for the solution.When ever i am doing this on my site.The login system is corrupted and i am unable to login in to my webiste.Please help me .I amusing the word press 2.0

    Hi I just found the solution of this issue, you need to download the "pluggable-functions.php" files from where it is installed and then make the changes. This works for me, probably it will work for you.
