   Hello! I was wondering if anyone can help me implement the following:

   I want to add thumbnails (first image of the post) next to the list of records under a category. You can see an example here:

   http://sunriseartists.com/category/interviews/

   I would want the first image to show at a certain size next to the links. I just can't figure out how to do it and doesn't help that my PHP skills are not that fantastic. Any help would be appreciated.

   I would recommend looking into using the Post Thumbnails and modifying your theme to use the featured image.

   If you don't want to do that, and want to just use the 1st image in a post, I'd recommend Get the Image plugin.
