I had a theme designed for me but did not have comments integrated into it. I would like to add a comments section to the theme but don't know what template tags to use. Basically what I would like to do is add the comments underneath the post then all the fields to add a comment underneath that. I checked out the codex template tag page but I couldnt figure out what tags I was suppose to use.

I'd suggest downloading the default theme and looking at archive.php and single.php (plus page.php if you want comments on pages). It's easier doing it from a working example than from the codex.
