I would like to add another category of items in my sidebar. I already have a "Main" area with the choices of "home", "about", "email", etc. I have a "Categories" header with a list of categories for posts. There is another bar with "People I Read" (links) and a list of other sites.
What I would like to do is have another bar like the Main area for "Resources" and list "books", "CDs", "Magazines", etc. as links to new static pages, just like the pages in the Main header.
How do I add this additional item? Is there a plug-in? Do I need to write some code into my index.php and page.php files? I'd like to add this as another "pages", "categories" or "links" section in my dashboard.
Any suggestions?
