   Hi ive just installed wordpress but im having a problem.. I make a new page and i also uploaded a pdf to wordpress. I want it so when i click on the page link it opens the pdf file. anyway to do this?

   The page link will only link to the page. If you want to link to the PDF, you'll need to provide a link to that PDF instead.

   Where exactly are you trying to add this link?

   Hi at the top of my main page i have the normal navigation bar "home" "about us" etc etc I want lets say the "about us" link when clicked to open a pdf file that i uploaded to wordpress.

   In that case, I recommend using a WordPress Menu. Most themes support this ... but I can't be sure about yours without knowing what theme you're using. But you can build your menu by going to Appearance > Menus.

   Then just add a custom link. The text for the link will be "About Us" and the link itself will be to wherever you uploaded the PDF.

   yea im using the default theme ill try that now.
