   Getting this error using your latest version..

   Deprecated: Assigning the return value of new by reference is deprecated in /var/www/vhosts/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/wangguard/wangguard-xml.php on line 17

   Any insight?

   Hi @Stigmartyr

   That solution is correct.

   On the next WangGuard puntual version we will made a fix for that problem but WangGuard works fine with or without the fix.

   On some server may screen that warning.

   Thanks Jose - we're running the latest php and sometimes deprecated warnings get through to the header no matter what .htaccess rules we set.
