   Everything is running smoothly on my WP except one tiny detail that really isn't so tiny. I get quite a few comments on a daily basis, and this is really putting a damper in them.

   I am running a slightly modified K2 theme.

   When someone leaves a comment, they often want to leave a second one as well. But when they go to post, it says "Sorry, you can only post a new comment once every 15 seconds. Slow down cowboy." and they can't post again.

   The problem is sometimes this 15 seconds lasts for several hours. I have checked and rechecked my code and can't see anything; neither can a much more astute friend. I have also contacted tech support for my hosting (GoDaddy) to inquire if there is a problem with the databases being updated. They said the problem is on WP.

   Any suggestions? The problem is not constant, some times you can leave four or five comments, other times none at all.

   Will something in this thread help maybe, or at least give you an idea of what's going on?

   Thanks Spencer. I just implemented the change of the time constraint (the negative value) so we'll see if that helps. If not... well, onto the next thing I guess.

   Feel free to slap my hand for apparently not doing a proper search first... eek!
