W3 Total Cache vs WP Super Cache + APC (3 posts)

    Greetings.

We're setting up our WordPress/bbPress/BuddyPress network.

Obviously, one of the big questions is the caching framework/plugin. We thought we'd be able to use W3 Total Cache + APC, but I've read in a post from Mark Jaquith that they're not really compatible.

So, my question is, is it better to use only W3 Total Cache or rather WP Super Cache + APC?

For what is worth, I can tell you that our website setup will be very similar in structure to that of IGN/Gamespot. Of course we'll be using a CDN, too.

    Thanks in advance!

What post are you referring to? That claim was never true as APC was one of the first integration W3TC supported 3y ago.

W3 Total Cache is really "total" , means you can do all caching tasks with a single plugin and manage effectively.
