• Today I installed W3 total cache on my site http://www.fotocomefare.com.
    After configuring it, I disabled the preview mode and tested it on 3 browsers.
    On Chrome I didn’t see any problem, but it was the browser I was logged into, so I think cahced pages were not being served.
    Then I tried it on Firefox and IE. In these two cases I did not log into my site. I have on the homepage a javascript slideshow created through the frontpage slideshow plugin. It creates a list and renders it as a slideshow.
    Sadly in FF and IE, the slideshow was not rendered and I could see only the list. I think it could be related to js minification, but I didn’t know which options to change, so I decided to disable W3TC.
    Does someone have a suggestion on how to solve this?

  • I have this same problem. I really like the frontpage slideshow plugin but its not compatible with W3 Total Cache and at this time W3 Cache is more important to me. Hope there is a fix soon.

    Did you find a viable alternative to Frontpage Slideshow which is compatible with W3 Total Cache?

    I use Dynamic Content Gallery but I feel its slow. Works ok though. I am willing to buy a custom script but can’t find non of that either. Frontpage-slideshow is the closest thing to what am looking for in terms of design.

    Thank you for your answer.

    Hi,

    I use “Content Slider by SlideDeck” and seems to work fine with TC. But it depends on several things, so I can’t recommend it for sure, but maybe you can try ;).

    Thank you almarma. I already tried it but its low customizability disappointed me.
    Do you use the free or the premium version?

    @almarma

    Am interested in the pro version of SlideDeck but am confuse about how to get your own custom skin or get a skin close to what I want and customize the CSS. Does the SlideDeck folks provide a collection of skins or do they make custom skins?

    Is there any consensus on this matter? 🙂
