[resolved] W3 Total Cache cache extensions - need all of them? (3 posts)

I own a VPS and just configuring the server to be compatible with W3 Total Cache.

I've installed all the cache extensions mentioned in the "Install" page.

    Memcached
    Alternative PHP Cache (APC)
    XCache
    eAccelerator

I was wondering if I did wrong by installing all of them. I mean, do I need all of them, or just few of them? Each and one of them does a different thing, or? Currently they are all enabled.

    Thanks in advance

You do not need all of them. APC is the one most often recommended.
Memcache is used when you have many servers.
