    I guess it was this bit you must have missed:

    “go to your .htaccess file and find those annoying 3 lines, remove them, then save .htaccess file”

    Indeed.

    Thank a lot. I was receiving a lot of 500 errors for some user-agents, notably googlebot. I disabled brower-cache and it solved my problem.
