Support » Plugin: W3 Total Cache » w3 Cache increases latency

  • I have the Latency Tracker plugin installed and have been getting an average of 0.32 seconds. I installed and enabled w3 Total Cache and latency has increased to an average of 0.45 seconds. Queries are significantly down, but I don’t see the value if the latency is so large.

    Am I doing something wrong?

I’m going to disable this until I hear back.

  • Can you re-activate and submit a bug submission form from the support tab of the plugin for testing? I installed that plugin and it throws warnings all over the place, so I’m not sure what it’s trying to do.

I cautiously re-enabled the plugin and there is no support tab. I am deactivating it until I hear more.

I did find the tab and have submitted a report.

Thank you. Looking forward to hearing back about what I’m doing wrong, if anything.

I’m still keeping the plugin disabled for now.

Weird thing, I use both W3TC and Latency Tracker on WP 3.2.1 and everything is running smoothly.. I checked my setup on Latency Tracker with w3tc enabled and disabled. No warnings/errors so far (@Frederick Townes) and no latency has been noted by w3tc (@Roy McKenzie).

Don’t know if my post is helpful, but worth mentioning to investigate further.

    That is helpful.
