I’m sorry but these are English language community forums, so please use English or provide an English translation. Alternatively, use a WP support forum in your language.
The question (in English) is:
My users can no longer see their own predictions. I worry a bit whether the predictions are saved.
How can I fix this?
Can you check the options of the plugin for the “Use HTML5 input” setting? Some browsers render spinner controls in the inputs that go over the numbers (with the default styling of the plugin).
Try disabling this setting and see if the numbers are visible again.
@ Antoine, thanks for your reply. unfortunately that’s not the case. I’ve tried it, but still no result. All the users except the first user are having this issue. So i am afraid the matches aren’t saved in the database.
Can I give you the login of the site you can see what’s going on?
@moderator: Apologies for using Dutch
If only one user is having this problem, then I don’t think me logging into the site will do any good. Maybe you can check with this user to see if he is using a different browser than the others, or something else that is different.
What happens if the user makes a new account?
If you want to check if the predictions are saved in the database, you can use a tool like phpMyAdmin to do a lookup of the user ID in the wp_users table and then do a query in the predictions table (change X with the user ID):
SELECT * FROM pool_wp_predictions WHERE user_id = X
Thanks for your reply.
Found out wat the issue was. I used W3 Total cache to optimize the page. Just switched it off, and now it saves all the predictions.
It means that all the users have to fill it in again because it’s not saved.
Bad news for me, but maybe you can warn other people to not use W3 total cache in combination with your plugin,
Thanks for reporting back. I added W3 total cache to the incompatible plugins list.
