[resolved] Visual & Text Editor ignoring image inline width and height (6 posts)

I am having an issue with WordPress ignoring the width="xxx" height="xxx" format, but obeying the style="width:XXXpx;height:XXXpx"

A recent site I'm working on is doing just that, with images, iframed content, everything. If I used width="xxx" height="xxx" , when I look at the source code, there is nothing there, but it's clearly in the html editor. It happens on every post and page. I guess the editor isn't outputting it at all unless it's in the style="width:XXXpx;height:XXXpx" format

I am having the same problem. Has anyone found a solution?

This is a huge pain. I have scaled lots of images using the width="xxx" height="yyy" convention and do not want to have to go through and change all of my previous work.

I found this post which prompted me to look for this in my functions.php. remove_thumbnail_dimensions That is what was causing the removal of the width and height. I removed it and it "fixed" the problem, but then the site was no longer responsive.

Also, I wanted to add that I solved my image resizing problem by using this plugin: http://www.mihaivalentin.com/image-pro-wordpress-image-management/

However, that won't go back and fix any you've already put in unless you remove that function.
