When editing posts, the write template only displays in HTML mode, clicking on the Visual tab does not result in a reversion to rich text mode.
I searched and found that there was a known problem with Safari, but that Firefox, was according to what I found, not producing this problem, but it seems to have this problem for me. Using Firefox 2.0.0.13.

This is still not resolved, my tech support person tried the solution described in the linked post above, but it did not resolve the issue.
Make double sure that you uploaded all the WordPress files. If necessary, delete the wp-admin folder from your server entirely and re-upload it. Clear your browser cache's as well.
It's amazing how many problems that fixes.
