I have an issue, I updated about 7 plug ins all at the same time the other day. Then all of the sudden the Visual Editor for my blog posts was all messed up. Shrunk down to a single line space.. I have tried deactivating the plug ins to see which did it, but got no changes.. I tried re-installing the newest WP update, nothing changed. I tried 3 different web browsers, a little different in each but still not the way it is suppose to be..
Here is a picture of what it looks like right now:

As you can see, the Visual Editor box itself is fine, just the white area where the text is typed has shrunk..
Have you tried:
- deactivating all plugins (yes, all) to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s). Don't forget the ones in mu-plugins. If you can't get into your admin dashboard, try resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
- switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

I deactivated all the plugins in the plugin menu I have. Did not do anything. I am not sure what the "mu-plugins" are or how to get to them. Would you be able to advise?
You only have mu if you are running a multi user site.
Dashboard, settings, writing, Size of the post box - that should set the size you want.

I tried deactivating every plugin I have added myself. Nothing changed this issue. I went into Dashboard, settings, writing. The size of the box was blank. I checked my other WP blog and it said 20, So I changed it to 20.. Still didn't fix it..
