    Hello,

after updating WordPress from 3.8.3 or 3.9 (not sure) I have the following problem in different browsers.

The Visual Editor text is now “invisible” in white letters and with html Code. See this pic:

    I already:
    – changed my theme
    – deavtivated all plugins
    – installed different other plugins (which were recommended in forums)
    – insert debug codes to the config file.

nothing worked out. But as I can read many people have the same problems after updating (without any other changes.

    What helps? Thank you… 🙂

  • Have you tried:

    – switching to the default 2014 theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder and wp-config.php & root .htaccess files – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.

Hello. Jep it is the issue. Thanks for the quick reply.

This Plugin cannot get deactivated via Plugin Folder, but it worked through FTP

    WPBakery Visual Composer

The template needs this plugin so now I am in kind of trouble.
Do you have any ideas how to solve it or how I can find out where the trouble in the Code / Scripts is?

It looks like the same problem here
