visual editor removes code (3 posts)

    I noticed that the editor in visual mode deletes/removes code. Mostly I use the editor in text mode, but when I switched, this

    <p style="margin-bottom: 45px;"></p>
    was repeatedly removed.

    That's the purpose of a WYSIWYG editor, hides the code for those not familiar or uncomfortable with it.
    You would use the menu bar and drop-downs for adding formatting and styling.

    Thank you for your quick reply. Although I knew of that purpose I didn't think this editor would simply delete the code.
    Before I had used other HTML editors like Dreamweaver and Webarchitect which don't behave this way.
