   Hello,

   For some reason, the Visual editor on my wordpress admin is not showing up. I have wordpress 2.8.2 and I have re-installed wordpress completely but on the edit page I only see the HTML view.

   Is there a way to fix this ?

   Admin/Users/Your Profile.
   Ensure that the "Disable visual editor" is unticked.

   How I was able to fix it was to

   • disable all plugins
   • Go to Tools --> Upgrade -- Reinstall 2.9
   • Reactive plugins
   • clear browser cache
   • log out of WP Admin then log back in
