The Visual Editor on my 3.0.4 version of WordPress is suddenly missing the second tier of tools, including the Back toggle, and Headings selector.

    – I am working in Firefox 3.6 on a Mac, but have opened WordPress in Safari 5.0.2 and had the same missing Visual Editor functionality.

Please let me know if there is any easy fix for this, perhaps a Settings toggle somewhere that I have missed?

The website I work on: http://www.revermont.org

    Thanks,
    Jesse Huffman

    Update:
This appears to be an issue of switching between users:
The original “Admin” user shows the full tool bar, while my later “Jesse Huffman” user name shows only the top half of the toolbar.

    – Both are assigned “Administrator” roles, and neither has the “Disable the visual editor when writing” toggle on.

    – Both have ALL the same settings on…

Any idea what this is about?

    Thanks,
    Jesse
