I upgraded to 2.3, and now my visual post editor doesn't display. I had all of my plugins disabled before the upgrade. I can't click back and forth from "visual" to "code" either. This is a pretty new blog and I haven't really messed with it that much, so I'm not sure what the deal is.
Anyone out there know what's up?
Here's a picture
The error indicated at the bottom left is really two errors:
"RealTinyMCE is undefined"
"Object doesn't support this property method"
Thanks in advance :)

I have a similar problem - just without the upgrade. I got my webspace yesterday, got my wordpress.com blog up there - no visual editor. No, there is one - only just the tab, no buttons etc - and yes, the "use visual editor" box is on in the user profile. I also have no plugins yet installed - just the virgin (downloaded yesterday) software and the old blog files.

I just installed 2.31 today. I have no access to the editor and cannot use either the visual or code functions. Any ideas?

This is funny. I fixed this by UNCHECKING the "use visual editor" box in the user profile. Now I have all my editor buttons back. Strange.
Also, I read a good review of this wysiwyg wordpress editor plugin, but haven't used it:

I've experienced the same issue on one blog upgrade out of 4. All the same upgrade package, one with the issue.

That is funny. I unchecked the Use Visual Editor box and now it works fine.
Thanks for the tip cinemaduro!

Oh nevermind. I can see the boxes to put html formatting tags in, but it's still not WYSIWYG... Bummer.
