   I just updated to 2.7. On my post-edit page, the option for "Visual" edit is unavailable and I can only edit in HTML. If I click on the tab for "Visual" nothing happens, it just stays in HTML mode.

   Any ideas?

   Deactivate all plugins and see if that helps.

   Try switching to the default theme and see if that helps.

   I had the same problem and it turned out to be a plugin, if I remember correctly a plugin called amazon showcase or something similar.

   Got it fixed in 2.8.

   WP
   Tools > Upgrade > Re-upgrade

   Firefox
   Clear your cache

   WP
   Refresh your screen (or restart your browser)
