   Is it just me? The "Visit site" link in the Admin area insists on opening in a new window. I have no idea when that happened, but I'm using a fresh SVN copy, so I'm sure it's not something I've done... Or is it an option I have missed?

   Is anyone else having the same issue?

   I'm using Beta1 rev 7319.

   Just tried it on my test site and it did not open in a new windo or tab. Setting maybe?

   No, it's in the /wp-admin/admin-header.php on line 64, there is a target="_blank".

   It's no problem removing it, but it has never been that way before, and I was not sure if it was a feature or a bug :-)

   I like the old way better too. I took out the target="_blank" and it was back to normal. I hope they keep it this way.

   Nope, they did not. In revision 7392 it was back. Both in wp-admin/admin-header.php and in wp-admin/themes.php.

   There is patches in the trac link two posts above.
