For some reason, the metatags at the top of my wordpress blog are visible… how can I go about making them invisible?

  • You can either delete or better yet comment out them like this <!-- your metatags --> in your theme file. Theme name or site url?

Actually, I just shut off my SEO All-in-One, and they disappeared, would that same line of code be found under the plug in that I could edit out?

Ah, and the final piece: it was the SEO All-in-one’s addition header info, which I had blankly filled in, so it inserted the tags automatically. Thanks for the help.

Your site is currently using the All in One SEO Pack (1.6.8.1) and is generating meta tags correctly. from your front page:

<meta name="description" content="Freshly Stomped and Always Too Bitter: A blog of teaching, coaching, married life, owning a great dane, reluctant adulthood, and everything else in between." />
<meta name="keywords" content="Chris Wells, Wells, Cottage Grove, Oregon, Football, Great Dane, Travel, Music, Dogs, Teaching, teacher, teach, Sped, special education, high school, newfoundland, Canada, Woodburn, Europe, wells, cottage grove oregon," />
