  • Same here. Avada theme the visibility field not visible.

I am having the same issue… the visibility field is not visible. Might have something to do with their baked-in mega menu support in Avada?

    WP 3.8.1 and Avada 3.3.1

    Just to update…

(This apparently happens with a lot of themes).

Same thing happens with the Dante theme from Themeforest.net.

This also happens with the UberMenu plugin from Codecanyon.net.

I would say this plugin needs more compatibility rather than the themes based from the support threads.

    Hi guys,

Sorry for the trouble, this issue has roots within WP itself, I’ve written a piece here: http://shazdeh.me/2014/06/25/custom-fields-nav-menu-items/
I’m open to collaborate with other developers so we could solve these compatibility issues.

Found that if you change the theme to Twenty Twelve, do you’re menu edits, then flip back on your chosen theme it’ll work. I’m using Avada and couldn’t see the visibility boxes to hide some private sections of the site. Flipped to Twenty Twelve did my edits flipped back… and it worked as it should have.

    This works just fine

It is strange, it don’t works with bought themes – I have to set default wp theme, set up, than change to custom theme 😛

I’m using Striking theme, also not visible here… Same solution: switching to twenty-twelve helps, and then switching back.
