• Since February my site has had words like ‘buy viagara’ inserted into the text of my blogs. This has caused my hosting company to block my site until I deal with it, so I can’t run a virus search plugin.

I have found 2 files that were uploaded at this time, the coding in them seems to show they are part of this virus. For now I have prefix renamed these.

I also found a analise.js file uploaded at same time and this file is referred to in a script in the head of my affected blog pages.

No web search, or search in WordPress gives info on this analise.js file. Does anyone know it it is a WordPress legit file, or part of the virus.

    Please help, thanks Jonathan

  • analise.js is not a file that ships with WordPress, so it’s likely part of the hack.

Many thanks, I have now deleted all that.

The virus seems to be an attack on and though the WP Supercache folder (in wp-content/cache), all the infected html blog page files are in the cache in that.

Hopefully my hosting provider will now restore url access so that I can run one of the malware search plugins.

And now I have to get Google to un-blacklist it as well :(((( hopefully before the summer !!

    Rgds Jonathan
