   For some odd reason my wordpress install is not parsing the new embed code for WordPress as noted here:
   faq.wordpress.com/2007/11/21/how-do-i-post-a-vimeo-video/

   It is not rendering out the video code, it just shows the embed tag as I typed it in. Is anybody else experiencing this issue?

   ( I'm using WordPress 2.3.2 )

   nobody else is having this problem? Perhaps I broke this functionality somehow...

   It appears like it may only work with WordPress.COM accounts?

   Any clue if there is an update for this? I am currently trying to integrate some Vimeo videos and unfortunately I am having no luck what-so-ever.

   [vimeo http://www.vimeo.com/2037045 shortcode does not work.

   Any ideas?

   I have the same problem only today. It was ok for a while. The reason should be due to Vimeo Plus. With the new policy, they have some special codes for embedding. Some folks will have HD embedding. I guess we have to hang on a while till WordPress figures how to relink us with the shortcut key. I guess a new shortcut is required or the old ones will be screwed!

   ok, I found the solution. It works as below in both html or viewer mode.

   [vimeo vimeo.com/145325]

   the old code below does not work now!
   [vimeo 145325]
