   I did embed videos from Vimeo before, and it always worked, but now it won't.

   I type the URL of the video (http://vimeo.com/30313769) in the post and make sure the URL is not hyperlinked. In Settings>Media the auto-embeds option is checked.

   Normally, WordPress would take care things and embed the video, but now only the text of the URL is printed in my post.

   How can this be resolved?

   Same here, the problem start in october 12. After update on Vimeo site.
   Apparently Vimeo require your complete embed code or wordpress recode API vimeo.

   Sorry Bad English.
