I replaced the default sidebar picture at http://www.martialartsflagstaff.com/wp – with no problems. But when I edited the pic and uploaded, it wouldn’t change. The old pic keeps showing up.

Then I tried uploading the revised pic with a new name, and when I changed the setting to reflect the new name, although my <alt> tag works, the pic doesn’t appear. I’ve cleared the cache, cleared my browser cache, tried multiple names, tried deleting all the pix in the sidebar/images folder, and nothing is working. The only thing which shows up is the original pic or a blank area – or if I switch to the default vigilance.png image, that comes up.

    I’m stumped.

I’ve tried with nesky.jpg, neskyb, jpg, nesky2.jpg… none update. It’s like there’s a copy of the original nesky.jpg cached somewhere and I can’t dislodge it. I’ve cleared supercache and turned off anything which might be caching…

Also took out the sidebar image and tried using a text widget instead, calling the image via html. Same problem.

Got it. I had just changed servers, and my ftp client was pointing to the old box. So I was successfully uploading to a server that my DNS was no longer pointing to.

    D’oh.

    Thanks for the help.
