   I have access to the stat widget but it's not telling me how many people visit my site. How do I do this.

   is it wordpress.com statistic plugin? You need to activate it using the wordpress.com API key..

   It's one of the widgets that is available on the dashboard

   There is no stat widget on my wordpress. Not even on dashboard. What should I do ?

   is the plugin they were discussing I believe

   there are many stats plugins, install one
